Warehouse
Real-time stock, barcode scanning, purchase orders and stocktaking.
The Warehouse module shows you at any moment which parts you have in stock, what has been used and what needs to be ordered. It is integrated directly with work orders, so stock updates itself when you fit a part.
Part sheet
Every part has its own sheet: name, code, category and unit of measure. You can add it manually or by scanning its barcode.
Barcode scanning
You can scan barcodes with your phone, in the mobile app (Android), or with a USB/Bluetooth scanner connected to your computer, directly in the web app.
There is nothing to configure in the web app: connect the scanner and scan.
- On a work order, each scan adds one piece of the part.
- When receiving a purchase order, each scan receives one piece on the matching line.
- In the parts list, a scan finds the part immediately.
Unknown barcodes
When you scan an unknown barcode, the app immediately offers to register the new part, without leaving the screen. When you scan an existing part on a work order, you only enter the quantity and price.
Purchase orders
You can create purchase orders to suppliers, and stock increases automatically when they are received. A part that is on an order not yet received cannot be deleted, so you don't lose track of it.
Who sees the prices
Purchase prices, average cost and stock value are visible only to the owner and to members with the Pricing permission. Other colleagues can work with parts, receipts and stocktaking without seeing the amounts. Details in Team & Permissions.
Stocktaking
During stocktaking, you scan the part and enter the quantity actually counted; the app corrects the stock automatically.
